Nurse Practitioners are educated in the psychosocial and cultural differences of our community and recognize that many healthcare modalities can be safely integrated. The Nurse Practitioners at PFWC strongly believe there are many ways to deliver quality medical care. Our goal is to educate our clients on a variety of therapeutics, integrating traditional medicine with safe, holistic alternatives. An estimated 80% of Americans seek alternative healthcare in the form of chiropractic, naturopathy, homeopathy, herbalism, acupuncture, etc., in addition to traditional medical care, without the knowledge of their medical provider. As nurse practitioners, we support your decision to seek those services and work to tailor your medical care with these in mind.

Pacific Family Wellness Center is unique in its approach to preventive and primary care, unhindered by today’s managed care. Our practice is fee-for-service, similar to traditional medical payment terms. Payment is accepted at the time of service and our staff will provide you the necessary documentation to submit for reimbursement by your insurance company. By doing this, the nurse practitioners are free to provide health care without limiting the time you spend with the provider or your treatment options.

With your best healthcare interest in mind, our nurse practitioners consult with our staff physician when necessary, and we have a full range of local physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers for referral.
