On this website I would like to explore alternatives to conventional treatments and conventional assumptions about people with autism. The focus is on empowering the person with autism, as well as that person's family. Empowerment comes from choosing to become actively involved in learning about and living with this very challenging disorder. You can make positive changes and you can see positive progress. The goal is not to make an autistic person more "normal" but to help that person live a more happy and fulfilling life.
Person Centered Planning - What is it? Who needs it? Or, as the esteemed Dr. Pawlak would say "So what and who cares?"
Food for Thought - Post your thoughts on my message board, and read what others had to say.

Do you have any information or experiences you would like to share?
I would really like to hear from people who have autism or who know those
with this disorder.
Is there something you would like to see added to this site regarding
austism?
Questions, comments, and suggestions are all welcome!
