AMY'S AUTISM PAGE - sharing ideas and
resources

Hi, I'm Amy, and this is my site all about autism.
With this site, I would like to raise awareness of the treatments available for people with autism and provide forum for sharing information, resources, and life experiences. People with autism deserve to be honored and respected as worthwhile human beings no matter what their level of functioning.

Check out the new blog!

INTRODUCTION:

On this website I would like to explore alternatives to conventional treatments and conventional assumptions about people with autism. The focus is on empowering the person with autism, as well as that person's family. Empowerment comes from choosing to become actively involved in learning about and living with this very challenging disorder. You can make positive changes and you can see positive progress. The goal is not to make an autistic person more "normal" but to help that person live a more happy and fulfilling life.
