Letter of Introduction and Resume

Dear Sir /Madam:

Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with my resume. Following is a brief summary of my professional experience. Most important, please note that I have gained extensive experience in the fundamental skills needed for project development, program management, in-service instruction and customer service for both technical and non-technical operations. Available for review are samples of both my technical skills and content development (writing) abilities (see work samples).

Most recently, I managed the web site for the American Immigration Lawyers Association.  This site was maintained on four off-site NT4 IIS4 web servers and one on-site Intranet and list server.  I was also responsible for the development of web pages utilizing HTML, DHTML, CFML, JavaScript, JAVA applets, and PERL.  I have utilized the following development tools:  Microsoft FrontPage 2000, Cold Fusion Server/Studio 4.5 (Home Site), and NetObjects ScriptBuilder. My experience also includes utilizing data sources including SQL, DBF, Excel, and Access.

I have completed 91 hours of classroom and lab instruction on Microsoft's NT4 network and obtained my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE NT4) credentials.  In addition, I have completed the following professional course work: Microsoft Internet Information Services 5 Server, Cold Fusion, JAVA/JSP, JavaScript, PERL (programming for web sites), and CompuServe system administration.  I have extensive computer experience with the following software:  IIS5, NT4, Windows 98, DOS, Microsoft Office with web page development (Access, Excel and Word), Adobe, PCAnywhere, WordPerfect, Freelance, Paradox 4.5, dBase IV, and several database specific programs.

In addition to my technical training and experience, I have 9 years of administrative and training experience as the Associate Director of Training for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). AGC is a construction trade association with over 33,000 members. AGC provides an extensive range of services in the area of workforce training and my responsibilities encompassed all facets of the development, production and marketing for AGC's vocational-technical training activities.

My web site development and MCSE credentials, academic education in the sciences, experience as an education and training administrator, and mathematics teacher have given me a strong foundation in working with a diverse group of people, completing technical and administrative tasks, and supervising the work of others. Please contact me if I can provide more information or if you would like to arrange an interview.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Craig N. Grimm
