West Crete Holidays Based in the village of Potamida in North-West Crete, West Crete Holidays run a variety of activities from a restored Olive Mill, still set in the midst of olive groves. This relaxed and informal setting is the centre for a programme of activities and courses which complement a stay in this beautiful part of Crete. Non-participants are also welcome, and they can enjoy the tavernas, beaches and walking close by. The courses run from April until October and last for one or two weeks. They are led by local and visiting experts, and take place in the Mill and surroundings. Accommodation is generally in the small village guest house, and rooms are often available in the Mill for independant visitors. The course dates are timed to make use of the Tuesday Charter flights from several UK airports to nearby Hania.
