The Initiate is then led into the next room through the opening at the right of the seven doors on the Southern wall, within the small temple. here at the back wall, the Initiate recognises the seven Ankh’s forming a pyramid. These are the ‘Keys!’
The 'Keeper', takes the Initiates right arm, and touching his hand to the first Ankh, brings it back to touch Initiates head.
The hand is taken back to the wall, this time to the second Ankh. The ritual continues, second Ankh to the right shoulder,
The third Ankh to the left shoulder.
The fourth and fifth Ankh, were again touched to the right and left shoulder, |
with the sixth Ankh to the heart.
The seventh Ankh was returned to the forehead.
Then the 'Keeper' leaves the Initiate for a few minutes, for his own private meditation.
On leaving the Temple the 'Keeper' locks the outer door again.
