Atom Models
Directions:
1. You will be given an element that you are to draw using Microsoft word.
2. Give your page a title and put your name under it on one side and the date on the other.
3. Draw a thick line under this information.
4. Use the drawing tools, text boxes and word art to draw a model of you atom with the correct number of protons, neutrons and electrons.  HINT:  Draw your outside electron level first.  Complete all of your levels then draw the protons, electrons and neutrons.
5.  Draw the correct number of protons, electrons and neutrons in the correct place on each electron level and in the nucleus.  Make sure to mark them so that I can tell the difference between them.
6. Make a key information list on your sheet that includes the Atomic Number, Mass Number, Number of Protons, Neutrons and Electrons.
7. Make a text box that tells what protons, electrons and neutrons are.
