Space Exploration Project

Directions:  You and a partner will be given a topic.  You will use the internet and books to get information about your topic and prepare a powerpoint presentation to give orally to the class.  Your presentation needs to be at least 5 minutes long, include at least 10 slides and include at least 5 different pictures.  You must have  written notes to use during your presentation, you will not be able to read off the screen.  All of the information you use must be accurate and found in some publication.  Make sure that your presentation is flowing and interesting.  You should not just read the facts that are on the slides, tell us supplementary information.  Not everything needs to be typed on the slides, just the main points. If you need more time, you may come to the computer lab 109 between 8 am and 8:30am any day.

You presentation should answer these questions and more:
1. What year was the project in effect?
2. What were the goals and objectives of the program?  (What did they want to accomplish with this program?)
3. What part of space was the program exploring?
4. What discoveries did they make?
5. Give the history of the program.  How did it start, when did it start, who were the key players, what were the important events that happened within the life of the program?)
