Hello, and welcome to Texas Instruments 82 Calculator Page
This page only contains 3 files right now. They are Assembly files. But I have lots of links. These links are to the 2 major TI program Archives. The TI-Files (which is inoperable at times) and The TI-Calc Organization, Neither of which are the Texas Instruments Corporation. So don't worry. If you wanted a program for a TI-82, your search is over. The ones I have, are the best ones I could find.
First, [Usage Instructions]
Let me tell you how to use this. What I have are 3 DIFFERENT shells for the TI-82. The operating systems are displayed. What you see in the menu, is what you will get in the download. Click the picture to download the file. I have a description of each one below.
Ok, first off, all these are zipped, because the servers do not recognize the special types of files and try to open them in the browser. So you will need Winzip. Click on the Graphic to Get a free beta.
Next, you will need the TI-Graph Link Software. This allows your computer to talk to your calculator. After that, you need the TI-Graph Link. To find out how to get it, Click Here. OK, now we're past all the requirements.
Warnings!! If you have a TI-83, DO NOT Put a TI-82 Backup on it. Knowingly enough it will not work, seeing as how much they are so alike. This will cause your calculator to LOCK UP! FOR GOOD! I found ONE and only ONE remedy for this, DON'T DO IT!
I also can not be held responsible for any damages done. Seeing as it is not my software. I created none of this, just put it together in a kick-butt package. Just in case, I would back up my calculator with what I already had, and save it. If your calculator does stall, just flip it over, take the batteries out, and replace, then resend the backup. Remember, this is an operating system, certain programs do not like to work with it, especially if they are made for other shells and are just compatible.
Now, that I've told you all you need to know except to quit a game, press [Clear], [Mode], or [Del] instead of [On], let's get on with the show.
Operating Systems
TI-Files has all of their files divided into Operating System Categories. If you go into the TI-Files you can click on the Operating system and it will give you everything it's got. TI-Calc.org has it divided into Games, Programs, Math, and so on. Then you click which Operating System you have.
