Hello, and welcome to
Lord Ice Man, That's Me!!
Texas Instruments 82 Calculator Page

**ATTENTION**
I would severely suggest reading ALL this information, it is a necessity in some cases, and can be vital.

This page only contains 3 files right now. They are Assembly files. But I have lots of links. These links are to the 2 major TI program Archives. The TI-Files (which is inoperable at times) and The TI-Calc Organization, Neither of which are the Texas Instruments Corporation. So don't worry. If you wanted a program for a TI-82, your search is over. The ones I have, are the best ones I could find.

First, [Usage Instructions]

Let me tell you how to use this. What I have are 3 DIFFERENT shells for the TI-82. The operating systems are displayed. What you see in the menu, is what you will get in the download. Click the picture to download the file. I have a description of each one below.

Ok, first off, all these are zipped, because the servers do not recognize the special types of files and try to open them in the browser. So you will need Winzip.
Get a free version of the almighty WINZIP!!
Click on the Graphic to Get a free beta.

Next, you will need the TI-Graph Link Software. This allows your computer to talk to your calculator. After that, you need the TI-Graph Link. To find out how to get it, Click Here. OK, now we're past all the requirements.

Warnings!! If you have a TI-83, DO NOT Put a TI-82 Backup on it. Knowingly enough it will not work, seeing as how much they are so alike. This will cause your calculator to LOCK UP! FOR GOOD! I found ONE and only ONE remedy for this, DON'T DO IT!

I also can not be held responsible for any damages done. Seeing as it is not my software. I created none of this, just put it together in a kick-butt package. Just in case, I would back up my calculator with what I already had, and save it. If your calculator does stall, just flip it over, take the batteries out, and replace, then resend the backup. Remember, this is an operating system, certain programs do not like to work with it, especially if they are made for other shells and are just compatible.

Now, that I've told you all you need to know except to quit a game, press [Clear], [Mode], or [Del] instead of [On], let's get on with the show.

ASH
Rating from 1 to 10: 10
Get the aSH Operating System Get the aSH Operating System
These are the same file but one screen is full and the other is a continuum. Important Info: Battery Max: Utility that utilizes what's left in your batteries (if they are low) to play a high speed game clearly. Safe-T-Calc: Password Protection Program. The default Password is Nothing, so just push enter when changing the password when prompted for the old one. Also, VERY IMPORTANT SECTION. Turbo: Your calculator runs at 6MHZ constantly, UNLESS you have this. This program can boost your speed by 400%. You can see a major difference when a file transfer is taking place if this is activated. Oh yeah, when in the menu, Push the Right arrow to get the next menu which contains Zetris.

CrAsh
Rating from 1 to 10: 8
Get the CRaSH Operatign System
This is another form of the ASH operating system. But it has difernet formats, I have tried its compatibility. ASH programs will run on CrAsh. But most CrAsh programs will not run on ASH. And, whatever you do, do not put Turbo in this system. It royally messes it up. If you do decide to put it in there, when it screws up, don't come crying to me. What you need to do is, take out the batteries and make sure ALL of your memory is reset. Then just reload the Crash OS file. If you get more than 8 programs, push the right arrow to get the second menu. Important Info: Safe-T-Calc: Default password is nothing. Also, very important section.
NOTCIE:Crashv1.3 has come out. Please go to the TI-Files Crash Archive and download it. But v1.1 will suffice if you don't want to.

JASS
Rating from 1 to 10: 2
Get the Jass Operating System
This is a cross version between ASH and O-Shell82 (which is another minute operating system) which can run both ASH and O-Shell. It runs O-Shell82 fine, but I wouldn't trust too many ASH programs with it. To select a program press the number. Also, VERY IMPORTANT Info.

Links
Updated versions of everything comes out all the time. The link you click will get you the latest version of that product. Two Known updates are: Orzunoid 3.1 to Orzunoid 5.1 and Minesweeper. Versions of Minesweeper are unknown, but the new interface is great..
