The program , unlike others, contains industry developed courses. Two courses , Financial Services & Products and Fundamentals of Personal Finance are developed by and provided through the Institute of Canadian Bankers. The Canadian Securities Course is provided through approval of the Canadian Securities Institute and is mandatory for employment in the industry.
The Financial Services industry is one the few growth industries which is actively recruiting college graduates to meet the demand for Financial planning and investment professionals to service the enormous wealth that will be inherited by the current generation of "baby boomers" who are rapidly approaching retirement.
