Poem by Audrea Ramirez | |||||||
Chaotic Silence All silent is a blur But not a sound is registered Such intensity is felt But not a touch is rendered High pitches make ears bleed But you can't smell the danger The brightness makes it clear But the pedastools block her She could come with me But it's my persistence that scares her Our passions overheat But it's inate to stand her She doesn't want to be my friend But no one understands her She isn't ready for my love But no one else can have her You can't see it in my eyes But it's mutual gander These musings are for you But taken as propaganda We're basking in our tears But when we talk it's coy laughter Lost in solitude But know we should be together |
