As Dr. Martin and Hank Hanegraaff pointed out, the WOF movement has deviated from essential Christian doctrines. In fact the phrase you used "essential doctrines to the Historic Christian Faith" is a Hanegraaffism which he uses in criticizing WOF theology. Copeland, Hagin, Price, etc. are dangerously close to the Kingdom of the Cults. However, I'm not quick to say that WOF people are all cultists, I just think that they don't do an effective job of critiquing their leaders in the light of Scripture when they buy their tapes or watch them on t.v.
