Subject: WM: Word Faith teaching

Richard Lee says:

>>>I have "Faith, Foolishness, and Presumption" by Price. Certainly he points out very foolish things, as he rightfully should.

Dave:

So you see what I mean. He does an excellent job I think.

Richard Lee:

>>>However, he undermines his own credibility when he stated that God does not get glory out of blind, deaf or "crippled" people.

Dave;

You misunderstand him altogether. What he means by this is that God would get "Glory" if they got healed. If a person is blind, God doesn't get Glory out of that. He only gets glory out of their healing. The same applied when our Lord Jesus Christ was here on earth. He touched opened the blind man's eyes and raised Lazarus from the dead so God could be glorified

John 9:2-3

2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

John 11:4

4 When Jesus heard that, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it."

Even in Dr. Prices' church, he has a section for the deaf where they can come and listen to him preach through an interpretor using sign language. If he was as "Cruel" as Hanegraaff and others make him to be, why do they not leave? It's because they understand that Dr. Price is not being cruel about it. They understand that God will get glory out of their healing.

Richard Lee:

>>>I also have videos of Price boasting of his lifestyle and basically telling the faithful that God's guarantee is for health and wealth.

Dave:

There is nothing wrong with giving God the Glory for His blessings on our lives.

Notice:

Ps 35:27

27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, "Let the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."

Ps 34:2

2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear of it and be glad.

Ps 44:8

8 In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah

Rom 2:17

17 Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in

God,
