I first started playing the guitar back in college for a
bible study group, and the first guitar I bought was an
Applause that I paid $100 for at a pawn shop. Ever since
then I have been a fan of the "round bottom" guitars.
After college I didn't play for over 15 years, and have just
recently started playing for a church homegroup where I
alternate leading worship with another member. Presently
I am learning bar chords, which defintely don't come natural
for me!My church has a lot of talented musicians, and I get inspiration
from listening to them. Nothing beats strumming and signing
praises to God! I gave my old guitar to my brother, and bought
an Ovation shown to the left. It is an Ovation Legend, Model 1867
6-string Acoustic/Electric Shallow body.
