Kufta Kebab
- 1½ lb Finely minced beef
- 1 Medium onion, peeled and very finely chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Ginger powder
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 2 tsp Ground turmeric
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Curry powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 Beaten egg
- 2 tsp Self-raising flour
- 2 tbsp Plain flour
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
Mix and knead all the ingredients together until stiff, take a small amount of the mixture
at a time and roll it into a ball, abount ping-pong ball size.
Brush the frying pan lightly with the cooking oil and arrange the balls, eight at a
time in the pan, place the pan under a pre-heated grill on a medium heat and cook until
brown and well cooked, turning them frequently.
Serve with salad or minty yoghurt sauce.
