Home Made" Potato Soup
Ingredients
6 Potatoes -- diced
1 Tablespoon Parsley flakes
5 Cups Water
2 Leeks -- washed
-Cut Into Bite Sized Pieces
1 Tablespoon Salt
Black pepper
2 Onions -- chopped
1/3 Cup Butter
1 Carrot -- pared and sliced
1 Can Evaporated Milk
1 Celery stalk -- sliced
4 Chicken bouillon cubes
Chives -- chopped
Directions
Put all ingredients except evaporated milk and chives in Crockpot. Cover and cook on low setting for 10-12 hours or on high setting for 3-4 hours.
Stir in evaporated milk during last hour. If desired, mash potatoes with masher before serving. Serve with chopped chives.Recipe By : Rival Crockpot cookbook
