Vacationing in the USA
Planning your next vacation can often be a time of indecision. Often, we want to do something different but just can't "put our finger on" what we really want to do. In planning this part of my homepage, I hope to take some of the pressure off vacation planning by providing you and your family with some information on vacation sites within the US. Williamsburg, Virginia: Visit Colonial Williamsburg for a step back in time to the 18th century. Walk down Duke of Gloucester Street. Hear the fife and drums. Nearby is the Great Smokey Mountain National Park where you can experience "mother nature" first hand...flowing mountain streams, mountain laurels in bloom, and the many arrays of color as the leaves turn and fall before the approach of winter.
Myrtle Beach, SC:Come have fun in the sun on South Carolina's Grand Strand. Myrtle Beach is home to many top attractions such as The Alabama Theatre, The Crook and Chase Theatre, Medieval Times and Tournament, The Dixie Stampede, The Carolina Opry, and Legends in Concert. If you like to play golf, Myrtle Beach is also home to more than 50 professional golf courses. Gatlinburg, Tennessee: Gatlinburg Tennessee is located adjacent to the Great Smokey Mountains. Its main street resembles a quaint little Swiss village lined with small shops and restaurants. In the fall, the colorful foliage abounds on the mountainside. In the winter, Gatlinburg becomes a small ski resort as skiiers flock in for skiing at Ober Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg also offers family fun and entertainment at Fun Mountain.
