Hi Internet people!!! Welcome to my home page. I hope that you'll hang around long enough to get to know just a little bit more about me. After all, these days, acquaintances that begin in cyberspace are often real, vivid, and long-lasting. Perhaps that will be true of us.
I was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania; attended Scranton Central High School, graduating in 1946; then went on to the University of Scranton, graduating in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
The University of Heidelberg, Germany was the next stop on my Educational Tour. When I came home on vacation, Uncle Sam requested the honor of my presence while the Korean War was in progress.
After my session with Uncle Sam, I went back to school - once again to the University of Scranton, this time to work for my Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, completing in 1956.
Nineteen fifty-six was, so I thought, the last time I would be attending school. Oh, how wrong I was!
Here I am in the year 2004 at the age of seventy six, no longer attending school,; 2003 was the last time as a teacher at Indian River Community College in Florida. Yes, I was a teacher, but I also attended classes to keep up my certification as required by the State of Florida. You will note I did not state the city...the main campus of I.R.C.C. is located in Fort Pierce, Florida, with branches in Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Vero Beach, and Okeechobee. As an adjunct teacher, I worked at all of the above sites.
I guess that the best--and fastest--way to really get to know me
is by discovering what my interests are. So here goes...
I collect coins, enjoy boating and fishing.
I enjoy movies - especially science fiction, action, and mystery.
I'm an avid reader.
