2 firm medium-size or 3 small bananas
2 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 Tablespoon fruit preserves
¼ cup finely chopped nuts, or granola
6 lollipop sticks
Peel bananas and cut off ends. Cut bananas crosswise into 1- inch chunks; you
should have about 12 chunks. Spread one end of each piece with peanut butter, top
with preserves and dip in ground nuts. To assemble kabobs: Skewer 2 pieces of
banana on each lollipop stick, pushing stick through the plain sides first. Press pieces
together to achieve layered effect. Serve immediately, or wrap kabobs in plastic wrap
and freeze. Serve frozen. Serves 6
