1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter flavored shortening
1 cup milk
4 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Add 3/4 cup milk;
sift in flour and salt, then add balance of the milk. Fill paper lined cupcake pan 2/3 full.
Bake at 400 º for 10 minutes.
