1 pint (2 cups) vanilla ice cream, softened
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
Apple Juice
Cinnamon sticks, if you wish
Place ice cream, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in an electric
blender container or food processor bowl. Cover container or bowl. Turn blender or
processor on and blend or process until smooth. (Turn machine off a few times and
scrape mixture off the sides.) Turn processor on and slowly add melted butter or
margarine in a steady stream and process until blended. Mixture can be frozen at this
point. Scrape mixture into empty ice cube trays. Place in the freezer until frozen. Pop
ice cubes into a recloseable plastic freezer bag. Mixture can be frozen up to 1 month.
To prepare One Serving
Heat apple juice. Place 2 tablespoons or one cube of mixture in a mug. Add 1 cup of
the apple juice and stir with a cinnamon stick, if you wish, or a spoon.
NOTE: 1 cup of apple juice and 1 cube of mix can be heated in a mug in a microwave oven
at 100% power for 1 minute 45 seconds to 2 minutes or until steaming.
