Rob Scharff
Rob is an Economics
instructor here at Kwantlen - works with Nancy Clegg. Rob has the dubious job of trying to make some sense out of macroeconomic policy and all the fun stuff that entails.
Rob isn't a member of the permanent faculty at Kwantlen, so there isn't a lot of dirt ^H^H^H^H^ background information available on him...
Jim Tehranian
has the unfortunate task of trying to introduce some sense to Organizational Behaviour (Busi 215). Unfortunately, OB has absolutely nothing to do with ant farms or bee hives...anyone want to buy a pith helmet complete with lovely white veil? Among other things, Jim is also Convenor of the Business programs at Kwantlen and a Harvard MBA to boot. Funny, you'd think with him around the college would be a more organized place! :^)
Dave Evans
is a man in possession of a whole lot of patience, and a real snappy dresser! Just look at those shirt-and-tie combinations! (I really like the one with the horsies!) Dave is also the only person I know who actually CAN smack a computer around and get the desired results - the rest of us get sparks and smoke!
If you haven't already guessed it, "Computer Dave" teaches...you guessed it....Computer Based Systems at Kwantlen. Apparently, if bribed sufficiently, he also teaches some of theComputer Information Systems courses too - but has LOTS more fun working with us in CBSY! Of course, he did have to delete Solitaire and Free Cell from the "M" drive to get our attention, but.......
Margaret Beresford...
is well known amongst her colleagues and students for her love of banks, especially the Royal Bank of Canada . She's also especially fond of used car dealers...
Margaret is one of several Accounting instructors at the Richmond campus. As well as being a wonderful instructor, (yup...buckin' for an "A") she is also a Certified General Accountant.. If I ever grow up, that's what I want to be! (ooooo....just imagine....getting to wear all that grey flannel......ooooo.....pinstripes...my knees are getting weak...)
According to Nancy, Margaret is the one most likely to be heard muttering about the X-Files! Although I've not heard this myself, I have heard her frequently saying "that just ain't gonna happen in the real world!"
And here all this time I thought she was talking about the silly things that academic types like to include in textbooks......
