Qty Description
6.5 lbs Pale Extract
.5 lb Crystal Malt 90L
.5 lb Caramunich Malt
1 oz Columbos Hops 14% AA
2 oz Cascade Hops 5.6% AA
1 tsp Irish Moss
1 vial White Labs California Ale Yeast #WLP001
Directions
Bring 1.5 gallons of water to 165 degrees F, add grains, and steep for 30 minutes. Remove grains, bring to boil, add extract, and return to a boil for 5 minutes. Add 1 oz columbos hops, and boil for 45 minutes. Add 1 oz cascade hops and 1 tsp irish moss and boil 15 minutes. Add 1 oz cascade hops during last minute of boil then let steep for 5 minutes Sparge to fermenter.

03/20/09 Kegged with 1/4 cup corn sugar. Ending Specific Gravity 1.016 (4) at 60 degrees F.
