Easter Egg Nog

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Qt whipping cream
6 egg -- separated
1 Cup sugar
brandy

Instructions:

  1. Beat cream thick, and combine with sugar and egg yolks which have been beaten together.
  2. Then add 1 1/4 tumblers brandy (to taste) and stiffly beaten egg whites. It may require more sugar according to taste.
  3. Keep cool until served. Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.

Orange Blossom Punch

Ingredients

3 cups water
3 cups sugar
6 cups grapefruit juice
1 1/2 cups lime juice
6 cups orange juice
2 litres gingerale


General Info:
Yield about 50 cups

Instructions:
  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and simmer until sugar dissolves; stir often
  2. Bring to a boiling point and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
  3. Add all fruit juices, stir well.
  4. Just before serving pour in gingerale.

Quick Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

1 can lemonade concentrate
1 can of Whiskey
1 can of 7-up


General Info:
Yield: 4 cups

Instructions:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender with 4 ice cubes. Blend & serve !

Peach Smoothie

This drink is great for breakfast, low in fat, low in calories and it tastes great.

Ingredients

1/2 cup plain yogurt (or use peach flavoured)
1/2 peach
1/2 cup pineapple
1 sprig mint
1 ice cube


General Info:
Yield: 1 10oz. serving

Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender, and whip until smooth.

Peach Bellini
Ingredients

2 large ripe peaches
2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
3 Tbs. orange juice
1 cup ice cubes
1 bottle pink champagne


General Info:
Yield: 8 champagne flutes 8

Instructions:
  1. Drop peaches into a small saucepan of boiling water, blanch for 2 minutes, remove from water.
  2. Remove skins and pits and place peaches in a blender.
  3. Add lemon & orange juice to peaches, and puree.
  4. Add the ice cubes and the Champagne, and blend until smooth.
  5. Pour into champagne flutes and serve.

Martini

Ingredients

Ice cubes
1 cup gin
1 Tbs. dry Vermouth
4 large stufed oilves

Instructions:

  1. Fill a 4 cup glass measuring cup 1/3 full with ice cubes
  2. Add Gin and Vermouth, stir gently
  3. Strain into chilled Martini glasses, add 1 olive to each glas and serve immediately.

Real Hot Chocolate #1
Ingredients

4 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa
2 Tbs. sugar
pinch salt
4 cups milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Whipped Cream (optional)


Instructions:
  1. In a medium saucepan mix cocoa, sugar and salt with 1/4 cup of water; simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Add milk and vanilla; increase heat slightly and slowly bring to a rolling boil.
  3. Beat cocoa with a whisk to make it frothy, pour into individual cups and top with whipped cream or marshmallows

Basic Egg Nog #1
Ingredients

1 dozen eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 cups sugar
2 cups bourbon
1/2 cup dark rum
1 quart milk
2 Tbs. vanilla extract
1 1/2 quarts whipping cream
Instructions:
  1. Beat together egg yolks and salt in a large mixing bowl, slowly add 1 1/2 cups of sugar beating well after each addition. Mixture should be thick and pale yellow.
  2. Stir in bourbon, rum, milk and vanilla; beat well.
  3. Beat the egg whites until foamy, add the remaining sugar and contue beating the gg whites until they form stiff peaks.
  4. Whip the cream until thick and peaks form.
  5. Fold the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture, and then fold in the whipped cream.
  6. Taste and add more sugar to taste.
