1/2 cup butter
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs
3 Tblsp white corn syrup
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked frozen 9 inch pie crust
Melt together the butter and chocolate over low heat; set aside to cool. Beat the eggs until light and foamy. Still blending, add the syrup, salt and vanilla. Still blending, add the chocolate mixture and blend well. Pour into the pie crust and bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is firm.
