Hummus (Chick pea dip)

Ingredients:

2 cups canned chick peas, drained
2/3 cups tahini
3/4 cup lemon juice
2 cloves mashed garlic
1 t. salt
1/4 t. cumin
pinch Cayenne pepper
parsley for garnish
crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Place chick peas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt and cumin in food processor. Mix until smooth. Refrigerate.

Alternately, the Chickpeas, tahini, garlic and onions can be mashed together until fairly smooth. The remaining ingredients can then be added. Mix thoroughly and then refrigerate.

Just before serving sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
