Meat & Mushroom Soup
1 lb. ground beef
2 med. or 3 small onions
2 cans cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 can water for each can of soup
Options:
1 or 2 beef bullion cubes
1-2 glugs of woostershire sauce
4 oz can of mushroomsBrown the ground beef in a large skillet. (Frozen ground beef seems to work better. Turn and scrape the browned part off every minute or so.) Drain the beef. (I actually dump it into a paper towel lined colander while I wash the skillet quickly to do away with extra grease.) Add the onions and cook till the onions are translucent. Add the Cream of Mushroom soup, water and any of the optionals you want to use. Stir well. Simmer for 30 min. Serve over mashed potatoes.
