CHOCOLATE COOKIES!! Brownie Kisses PREP: 10 min; BAKE: 40 min; MICROWAVE: 30 sec Makes 12 servings Incredibly delicious, this sensational-looking dessert easily totes to potlucks and is a show-stopping finale for any event! 1 package (1 pound 3.8 ounces) Betty Crocker® fudge brownie mix 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 eggs 1 1/4 cups vanilla milk chips About 25 milk chocolate kisses with white chocolate stripes, unwrapped 1 1/2 teaspoons shortening 1. Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of springform pan, 9x3 inches. Stir brownie mix (dry), water, oil, eggs and 1 cup of the vanilla milk chips in medium bowl about 50 strokes with spoon or until well blended. Spread in pan. 2. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean. Immediately place chocolate kisses around outside edge of brownie. Cool completely. Remove side of pan. 3. Place remaining 1/4 cup vanilla milk chips and the shortening in resealable plastic sandwich bag; seal. Microwave on High about 30 seconds or until chips are melted. Knead chips until smooth. Cut small corner from bag. Drizzle melted chips over top of brownie. Cut into wedges. Mini Chip Snowball Cookies Makes about 5 dozen cookies Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts Powdered sugar Directions: BEAT butter, sugar, vanilla extract and salt in large mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour; stir in morsels and nuts. Shape level tablespoons of dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets. BAKE in preheated 375° F. oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly browned. Remove from oven. Sift powdered sugar over hot cookies on baking sheets. Cool on baking sheets for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar if desired. Store in airtight containers Inside-Out Chocolate Chip Cookies PREP: 10 min; BAKE: 12 min/batch Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies Double the chocolate decadence by substituting 1 1/2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips for the vanilla milk chips. 1 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 cup stick margarine or butter,* softened 1/2 cup shortening 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs 2 1/2 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour 1/2 cup baking cocoa 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups white baking chips 1 cup chopped nuts 1. Heat oven to 350°. 2. Mix sugars, margarine, shortening, vanilla and eggs in large bowl. Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Stir in vanilla milk chips and nuts. 3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. 4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack Rocky Road Squares Makes 24 brownies Ingredients: 1 package (21.5 ounces) fudge brownie mix calling for 1/2 cup water Vegetable oil, per package directions Egg(s), per package directions 1/2 cup NESTLÉ CARNATION Evaporated Milk 1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels 2 cups (4 ounces) miniature marshmallows 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts Directions: PREPARE brownie mix according to package directions, using vegetable oil and egg(s) and substituting evaporated milk for water. Spread into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake according to package directions; do not overbake. Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with morsels. Let stand 5 minutes or until morsels are shiny. Spread evenly. Top with marshmallows and walnuts. Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer Bars Makes 24 bars Ingredients: 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted 1 1/4 cups lightly salted dry-roasted peanuts, chopped 1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels 1 cup flaked coconut 1 1/4 cups (14-ounce can) NESTLÉ CARNATION Sweetened Condensed Milk 2 cups (about 20) crushed peanut butter sandwich cookies Directions: COMBINE cookie crumbs and butter in small bowl; press onto bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Layer nuts, morsels and coconut over crumb mixture. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over top. BAKE in preheated 350° F. oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until coconut is golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Mini Morsel Shortbread Squares Makes 4 dozen squares Ingredients: 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels, divided Directions: BEAT butter and sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in flour. Stir in 1 cup morsels. Press onto bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. BAKE in preheated 350° F. oven for 30 to 33 minutes or just until top begins to brown. Immediately sprinkle with remaining morsels. Let stand for 5 minutes or until morsels are shiny; spread evenly.
