No, Coldcock Malt Liquor is not a real malt liquor, it is actually a parody of malt liquor television ads. It first appeared on Saturday Night Live in the early 1990's. The ad featured Tim Meadows and was done in a style very similar to the Colt '45 and King Cobra ads of the 1980's. It had a catchy slogan of "There's only one malt liquor that'll get your head hummin'. Coldcock's the one you never see comin'."

Whenever someone took a drink from a can of Coldcock, an animated arm and fist would knock the drinker in the face (or coldcock him, hence the name), eliciting reactions such as "Oooh, that's some malt liquor."

The skit/commercial then ended with a woman saying "I have yet to see the man that could drink a whole can." This was truly classic television!
