Heat oven to 350F. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl beat together margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop teaspoon size lumps onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly and remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
