Valentine Sugar Cookies

Frosting

  1. Preheat oven to 375 deg
  2. Cream the butter until light and fluffy
  3. Beat in the sugar
  4. Beat in the eggs, vanilla and milk
  5. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder
  6. Beat in the dry ingrediants
  7. Chill for 1-2 hours
  8. Roll out the dough to 1/8 to 1/4 inch thickness
  9. Cut out large heart shapes, with half of these cut out a small heart from the center
  10. Bake on greased baking sheets for 8 minutes
  11. Cool compleatly
  12. Beat butter, icing sugar and milk until light and fluffy
  13. Add a couple of drops of red food coloring and mix well.
  14. Put a liberal amount of frosting on the bottom, spread out, place the top on
  15. This makes about 8 cookies (my cutters about 5 by 6 inches)
