Cornflake Cookies

• 1/2 cup margerine
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp ginger
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 1/8 tsp cloves
• 1.5 cups cornflakes
• 1 cup dates or raisins (optional) (I've never tried them with raisin)

Cream butter and both sugars together. Beat in egg and vanilla.

Mix together all the remaining ingreadiant except the cornflakes. Beat in. Add the cornflakes and beat somemore. Drop by spoonfulls onto a cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 deg oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
