Welcome to Roy and Margaret Wagner's Home Page

"We often get to the end before we are ready to stop driving."

Well Summer is finally (hot and humidly) here in Middleridge. We have still been working in the gardens. Our vegetables are doing nice. We've had some great lettuce due to the cool days until now, our tomatoes are about two feet tall but no fruit yet. Our flowers are doing good; daffadils, tulips and peonnes are past blooming, marigolds and phlox are in bloom, zinnias, runuculus and gladiolus are soon to bloom. The lawn looks nice (gets mowed each week) and the trees are all now very green.

Our boys were home for Summer and are now working. Brandt is responsible for camp equipment and misc tasks at a very nice youth camp about 200 miles away. Todd is working for a company (RGIS) that does store inventory electronically for major stores (Penny's, K-Mart, CompUSA, etc.). Roy's Dad came to visit from California for a couple weeks so we could celebrate his birthday and Father's Day.

We tour the scenic roads of Virginia whenever we can. We just planned and lead a 3 hour scenic drive for a gathering of 60 Miatas from Virginia and other nearby states (MD, PA, DC, NJ, NY). We got together for the weekend to do all the kinds of things that Miata owners love to do (autocross, drives, a gimmick rallye, etc.) as a group.

This Fall, Brandt will be back to college at James Madison University and Todd will be back to Virginia Tech. And we'll be "all alone" with our cat at our home in Fairfax, Virginia.

While planning our recent scenic drive, we stopped off at Horton Vineyards near Orange, Virginia and in Orange County, Virginia (kind of familiar names to our previous home in Orange County, California). We brought home a mixed case of some good wines. We also stopped at Oasis Winery and bought some more wine for summer sippling out on the deck.

Stop by and see us some time when you're in the area.
