Well Fall is here (cool and colorful) in Middleridge. We are working in the gardens, raking leaves, and preparing things for winter. Our vegetables this summer were great. I harvested our remaining basil just before our first frost and made two batches of pesto. Our daffadils, tulips, peonnes, zinnias, and gladiolus were very nice. The Fall colors (reds, oranges, yellows) are painting all the trees now and look so pretty.
Our boys are back at college again. Brandt is at James Madison University and Todd is at Virginia Tech. Roy's Dad from California was here recently for a week.
We continue to drive the scenic roads of Virginia and Maryland whenever we can. We recently had our Fall Foilage drive out to western Virginia near Skyline Drive. Check out the kinds of things that Miata owners love to do (autocross, drives, a gimmick rallye, etc.) as a group.
We are again "home alone" with our cat (Watson) in Fairfax, Virginia.
Our favorite winery is still Horton Vineyards near Orange, Virginia.
