Ham & Cheese Pie

1 pie crust (9")
1 1/2 c. diced cooked ham
2 c. shredded  cheddar cheese (8oz)
1/4 c. finely chopped onions
1/3 c. flour
1 c.  milk
4 eggs 
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/4 t. caraway seeds

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Line  9" pie pan with pastry, flute edges.
Sprinkle half the cheese into the pie crust, top with 1/2 the onion and then
1/2 the ham. Repeat layers.
In a bowl combine flour, salt, pepper, and caraway. Gradually blend in milk.
Add eggs, one at a time, beat well after each addition.  Pour over pie.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.  6 to 8 servings
