Danielle's in Town & Country is very unassuming and is toward the back of the complex on a quiet side street. They have tables inside and out, as well as a small front deli business. The interior of the restaurant is bright and cheery. There are many tables, but they are well-spaced, as to make it seem intimate. Our server is well-dressed, except for her out-of-place tennies and she's a bit goofy. The menu is not too extensive--mostly crepes--fancy that!--so we each order a crepe and an order of paté.
The paté is beautifully presented. It's served in a medium-sized white ceramic dish with a small loaf of French bread, with capers, mustard, and tomatoes on a wooden cutting board. The crepes follw a scant few minutes later. Their crepes are not the thin French crepes you find at most places. These are solid, slightly chewy and perfectly sealed. The consistency is just right, so that any kind of filling will work, from ham & cheese to strawberries & cream. I had the Indian curry in the spicy red pepper crepe, with apricot chutney. It was a little runny, but excellently filling.
The set-up at Danielle's is great - the prices are inexpensive, the crepes and the paté delicious, and the value is great.
