Tammy's is located in a dingy "square" of shops and restaurants (Fish 'n' Chips, Hotdogger, and a Japanese restaurant). There are a few tables all crammed together, with an eggshell blue wall, which gives Tammy's a homey feel. The servers, presumably the owners, stand around and wait for you to choose your meal. We traditionally start out with spring rolls with uncooked skins (not deep fried), which are filled with cooked chicken, sprouts, mint, and veggies, and can be dipped in a peanut garlic sauce. A group of six can eat well for about $40, including tax and tip. Once you get over the non-decor and the non-view, a great meal can be had by all.
