INGREDIENTS:

tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
2/3 cup firmly packed
dark brown sugar
2/3 cup granulated
sugar
2
tablespoons water
3/4 cup light corn
syrup

tablespoons heavy cream (whipping cream)
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a small heavy bottomed saucepan melt the butter. Stir in the brown and granulated sugars, water and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for about 2 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes and then whisk in the cream.
Serve sauce warm or cold. Can be reheated in a double boiler, or in a microwave oven.
