D. ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW SUMMARYThe Architecture Review Board (ARB) Guidelines are contained in the homeowners packet which is available to all homeowners and residents.
Before a new structure such as a fence, deck, porch, patio, storage shed, or house addition is started, an application must be sent to the ARB Chairperson and approved by the ARB. (See the Request for Modification or Addition)
Here are some guidelines to common items:
ANTENNAS - Exterior antennas and satellite dishes are prohibited.
FENCES - No front yard fences allowed. No metal fencing. Must be constructed of pressure treated natural wood or wood tone stains.
DECKS - Must meet county code and be approved by county. All decks to be of natural wood or wood tone, pressure treated wood.
STORAGE SHED - No metal sheds. Must be compatible with both architecture and landscape surrounding the house. Not to exceed 100 sq. ft. in size. Must be places on solid masonry floor.
POOLS - No above ground pools. Must be surrounded by at least a 5 foot privacy fence.
BASKETBALL BACKBOARD - Only clear acrylic.
STORAGE OF BOATS, TRAILERS, CAMPERS< MOBILE HOMES, OR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES - Prohibited unless parked in an enclosed garage.
