Dan "The Wild Thing" Joo plays drums and percussion. He started playing a 5 piece '92 Pearl Export Series, with 3 Sabian cymbals. He has upgraded his set with two extra cymbals, 2 extra tom-toms, and a double-kick.
Dan started his career as the drummer for Bjorn the Half Bear Half Man and His Awesomeness band, with Jordan. After the band broke up, he played in a couple other bands that fell apart within a few sessions. He then reunited with Jordan, Jeremy, and lead guitar player Brendan Waters for a brief stint with Abnormal, but that too fell apart after a few sessions. A few months later, he formed the band Ars Nova, with Elyse Hooge and Jordan. About 10 weeks, and numerous gigs later, Dan agreed with Jordan to start up another project, DXA. Soon after that, Jeremy joined, playing rhythm guitar and singing lead vocals.
In his spare time, Dan likes to play sports, go out with his friends, and cruise in the 'beast'.
