Jordan Vincent Elliott plays lead guitar, and sings background vocals. He and Jeremy share duties as song writers, and all of their songs are shared credit. Jordan plays a 1996 Fender Telecaster (shown right), a 1997 Epiphone Junior and a 1996 Fender Stratocaster (the Phubbacaster) through a Fender Custom Shop Pro 185 amp.
Jordan started his career as the bassist and lead vocalist for Bjorn the Half Bear Half Man and his Awesomeness Band. After the split of Bjorn, Jordan took up the role of rhythm guitar and lead vocals for Fizbin's Stern Looking Fridge in which Jeremy played bass. The name was soon changed to Abnormal. In this time, Jordan started a doomed reocrd company called arphaxad music incorporated with then lead guitarist Brendan Waters. After the collapse of arphaxad and Abnormal, Jordan moved to playing lead guitar and bass for pianist/vocalist Elyse Hooge. It was after a few months with Elyse's band Ars Nova that Jordan decided to start a side project, Distorted Anomaly with Dan (who was also a member of Ars Nova). Soon after it's conception, Jeremy joined, this time, not to play bass, but to play rhythm guitar, and sing lead vocals. Jordan and Dan's stints with Ars Nova ended when they were for all intents of purposes kicked out of the band. Now Jordan and Dan can focus themselves completely on DXA.
Outside of his bands, Jordan enjoys reading and writing. The self proclaimed 'ladies man' DXA, he spends most of his time hanging out with his friends and playing his guitar.
