CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

Crust:
1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter

Filling:
1 1/2 cup semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1 1/2 8oz.pkg. softened Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup softened Butter
2 cup thawed Frozen Whipped Topping

Combine the vanilla wafer crumbs and the butter to make a crumbly
mixture. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.
Melt the chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe bowl, 1 to 1 1/2
minutes at HIGH setting or until the chocolate is smooth when stirred.
Set to cool.

In a large mixer bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and butter until
smooth. Blend in the cooled, melted chocolate. Fold in the whipped topping
just until everything is well blended. Pour the mixture into a crumb crust.

Cover and chill until firm. Top each serving with more whipped topping if desired. 1
