Holiday Party Mix - two berries

I originally found this recipe in with the Sunday coupons. I made it for Thanksgiving, and since then my family expects me to make it every year!

The secret to this recipe is in the cereal! By using Honey Nut Chex and Quaker Oat Meal Squares (or their equivalents), you add a touch of sweetness to the party mix.

Ingredients

MOIST
-----
6 tbsp melted butter or margarine
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp seasoned salt

DRY
---
2 cups Crispix or 1 cup each rice and corn Chex
2 cups Honey Nut Chex
2 cups Quaker Oat Meal Squares
1 cup Multigrain Chex
1 cup pretzels
1/2 cup salted nuts

Cooking

  1. Heat oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Melt butter or margarine, then add Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt.
  3. Measure the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Pour melted butter mixture evenly over the dry ingredients.
  5. Mix well until dry ingredients are evenly coated with butter mixture.
  6. Put cereal mix into a 9 x 13 pan.
  7. Bake 45 minutes at 250 degrees.
  8. Check every 15 minutes during baking time, stirring mix.
  9. Spread on paper towels to cool.
