Porcupine Meatballs - two berries

I found this recipe on another online site when I was in the mood for hamburger, rice, and tomato sauce. I found it amazingly easy and tasty!

Ingredients

MEATBALLS
---------
1/2 lb hamburger
1/4 cup rice
1/4 cup water
chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper

SAUCE
-----
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Cooking

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the meatball ingredients together.
  4. Form hamburger mixture into tiny palm-sized balls.
  5. Place balls in an 8" square pan and cover with sauce mixture.
  6. Cover pan with foil and bake 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  7. Uncover pan and bake an additional 5-10 minutes.

Low-Fat Tips

Use lean ground beef or ground turkey.
