Volnay Santenots-du-Milieu, 1992, Comtes Lafon

Tasted in its very early years, shortly after the mise en bouteille, at the Domaine. Medium deep purple red, about what could be expected of a lafon Volnay of this age. Vibrant young pinot aroma, full of fruit. Slight touch of greenness in the nose. Tasting surprisingly open, and well, the wine not having closed up yet. Hard to assess in detail but overall a very well made and easy drinking Santenots for short to mid term keeping.
