The female climax is beautiful. The male one is, well, anticlimactic. My own climax means very little to me; it is everything that leads up to it, especially the woman and how she feels, that I really savour...
There is a hint of these sentiments in my latest passion poem, "Odyssey," conceived last week on the night of 21 June 1998 (while watching the movie "Cannery Row," based on the John Steinbeck book). The title recalls Greek mythology, which I have loved since my childhood. My second given name happens to be Ulysses from Roman mythology--whose Greek counterpart was Odysseus (who engineered the Trojan Horse plan)...
