WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A MAN?

He has a knack of scoring touchdowns.
He can bench-press 300 pounds.
He is also pretty good at beating up
the little woman he owns.

God, the man's so strong.
A great leader as well.
So capable and in control.
And, Hell, it's HIS world;
Doesn't his woman know that too?!

He wants to have an impact.
But, more so, a legacy.
Some things, though,
just don't stay!  Like
black eyes and bruises.
And ruined mascara...

Others DO,
like he wishes
the empires and
monuments and
conquests
in his big head could.
Tatooed forever
in bones and
in marrow:
The thoroughly
               raped
spirit of a woman.
