Suzanne's Eggnog

 

6 eggs (separated)

1 cup sugar

2 quarts milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 bottle of your favorite rum

1/4 cup sugar

Taste the rum to verify freshness. Beat the egg yolks and 1/2 cup sugar in a small bowl until thick. Take another taste of the rum. Beat the egg whites in a large bowl until soft peaks form. While waiting for the eggs to set, taste the rum again. Add remaining sugar gradually, beating until stiff peaks form, take a big long drink of the rum. Fold egg yolks into the eggwhites, take a couple swigs of th rumm. Blend in the milk, banela and sallt. While th stuf is chiling, take th rumm and go sitt by thee fire. Whow, what a nise niite, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
