1 cup sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup cream style corn
1/3 cup Wesson oil
1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt (or a bit more)
2 tablespoons chopped bell pepper
2 chopped jalapeno peppers
2 cups grated sharp cheese
2 small cans diced green chiles


Mix all ingredients except for cheese. Pour half of the batter, then half or the cheese, then remaining batter and top with other half of cheese in 2 quart baking dish. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. If you want to use as hors d’oeveres, place in a larger pan to make thinner bread and shorten baking time.
