TC's Chicken Casserole

 

1 whole chicken, boiled, deboned, and chopped

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can Rotel tomatoes and green chili's, diced

1/2 loaf of Velvetta cheese, grated

1 small package of corn tortillas ( about 20 ), torn into small pieces

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 onion, chopped

Mix together in a large bowl the chicken and mushroom soups, Rotel tomatoes, onion, chili powder, and half of the cheese.

Put a little of the mixture on the bottom of the dish, then some chicken, then some tortillas. Keep doing this layering until finished. Put remaining cheese on top and cover with foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes to brown cheese.
