Ray's Raft Trip Directions, Packing List and Info

Included in this fantastic weekend:

• Two nights camping on the Crystal River with bathrooms and hot showers.
• Rafting down the Colorado River (Glenwood Canyon) or the Roaring Fork into the Colorado, depending on conditions. We work with a professional rafting company for the equipment, bus and additional guides.
• Excellent gourmet meals...that you help cook and clean up after:
••• 2 breakfasts, Sat & Sun - standard breakfast fare plus some
••• 1 lunch on the river Saturday - Sandwiches and drinks
••• 2 dinners - Burgers, dogs etc. Friday night as people arrive. Whole baked salmon and steaks with grilled veggies saturday night.

Directions:

It’s about 3 hours from Denver and about 3 1/2 from Boulder

• From Denver, take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs/Aspen exit
• Head East (South) on Hwy. 82, through Glenwood, toward Aspen.
• About 10 miles past Glenwood, take a right onto Hwy 133 (Carbondale-Redstone). Now
Check your odometer!
• Continue on Hwy 133 for 7.0 miles, and watch for the "Crystal River Resort/BRB Cabins-Campgrounds" sign on
the left (Telephone: 963-2341)
• Go 1/5 mile further then left into the entrance.
• We usually have a lot of tent sites reserved, often including all the riverside sites (#27-34 or 35?). Check in at the office,
introduce yourself, and ask where the sites are for Ray's Raft Trip. Or, Once inside, go left toward the tent sites.
